Shipping & Freight Policy

Shipping Overview

H&A Transmissions ships remanufactured Honda and Acura transmissions nationwide to professional repair facilities, transmission shops, and authorized distributors.

  • Commercial deliveries only (no residential delivery unless pre-approved)

  • Shipments are palletized and banded for freight transport

  • Tracking information is provided once the unit ships

  • FREE DELIVERY for Southern California

Freight Carriers

We ship primarily via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers selected based on destination, transit time, and reliability.

  • Carrier selection is at H&A’s discretion unless otherwise arranged

  • Expedited freight options may be available upon request

  • International shipping available only by prior approval

Freight Charges

Freight charges are quoted at the time of sale

Shipping costs may vary based on:

  • Destination

  • Delivery requirements (liftgate, limited access, etc.)

Freight charges are non-refundable once a shipment has left our facility

Delivery Requirements

To avoid delivery issues or refused freight, customers must ensure:

  • Valid commercial delivery address

  • Facility is open during normal business hours

  • Proper equipment available to unload (forklift or dock)

Liftgate service must be requested at the time of order. Additional charges may apply.

Receiving & Inspection Policy

All shipments must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

Upon Delivery:

  • Inspect pallet and packaging before signing

  • Note any visible damage or shortages on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL)

  • Take photos if damage is present

Failure to note damage at delivery may void freight claims.

Freight Damage Claims

If damage is discovered:

  1. Note damage on the BOL before signing

  2. Take clear photos of the pallet, packaging, and damaged area

  3. Contact H&A Transmissions within 24 hours of delivery

H&A will assist with the freight claim process but is not responsible for carrier-caused damage unless properly documented.

Core Return Shipping


  • Core return shipping will be scheduled by H&A when ready

  • Cores must be properly drained, palletized, and secured

  • Improperly packaged cores may be refused or subject to additional fees

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

    • If a shipment is refused or undeliverable due to:

      • Incorrect address

      • Closed facility

      • No unloading capability

The customer is responsible for all additional freight charges incurred.

Shipping Lead Times

  • Standard shipping lead times are provided at time of order
  • Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Weather, carrier delays, or force majeure events may affect delivery timelines
