Warranty Overview

At H&A Transmissions, our warranty programs are designed specifically for professional repair facilities. We keep it simple, transparent, and flexible—so you can choose the coverage level that best fits your shop and your customer. 

Unlimited Mileage Coverage

All H&A Transmissions warranties include unlimited mileage during the warranty term. Coverage is based on time, not miles driven.

Custom Term & Tier Options

Every transmission we sell includes a 1 year parts only warranty as well as an initial failure policy. Our term limits are up to 3 years with 5 different tier levels to choose from. 

Warranty Term Options

You can select from the following warranty term lengths:

  • 1-Year Unlimited Mileage

  • 2-Year Unlimited Mileage

  • 3-Year Unlimited Mileage

Parts-only coverage applies to internal mechanical components of the remanufactured transmission, external solenoids, external valve bodies (CVT/6PSD) and torque converts.

Labor Coverage Options

Labor coverage may be added to any warranty term and is customized based on your shop’s labor rate.

  • Labor coverage is optional

  • Labor reimbursement is based on the approved labor rate at time of purchase

  • Labor is paid only when added to the warranty tier (or initial failure within 30 days of install)

Labor coverage must be selected at time of purchase and cannot be added retroactively. 

Warranty Tier Levels (1-5)

H&A Transmissions offers five warranty tiers, allowing repair shops to balance protection, cost, and labor reimbursement.

Labor reimbursement limits and approval levels increase with each tier.

What's Covered

  • Internal mechanical failures due to defects in workmanship or materials
  • Failures occurring within the selected warranty term
  • Approved labor reimbursement (if applicable to selected tier)

What's Not Covered

  • Improper installation
  • Incorrect or contaminated transmission fluid
  • Cooling system failure or insufficient cooler flushing
  • External components or electrical items
  • Abuse, racing, or use beyond OEM specifications
  • Diagnosis errors or unrelated vehicle issues

Filing a Warranty Claim

If a warranty issue occurs, please submit a claim through our Warranty Claim Form.

You will need:

  • Original H&A invoice number
  • Installation invoice
  • Diagnostic scan report
  • Detailed description of the issue

Warranty terms are subject to verification and approval by H&A Transmissions.
